Hello all Gardeners,
It is May, garden season is really here. Last week was a questionable weather day, but a good day for working in the garden. A few gardeners showed up and we got work and chores done. A couple could stay a short time, but that worked out well. They did some weeding and harvesting while at the garden. Every little bit helps. We moved some more wood chips to the paths. We harvested rhubarb and asparagus. And thinned a few of the perimeter perennials. We could see a start of the lettuce and onions planted the prior week. We planted some kale, carrots , beets, radishes and turnips. This coming garden day we will be getting more seeds in the plots. The next garden day will be Wednesday May 4 at 9:30 AM. If you can only come for a short time come anyway. All help will contribute to this garden.
See you Wednesday.
